Bending of tubes and production of tube parts from sheets
We cooperate with a leading European manufacturer that bends tubes using unique machines equipped with special tools, so-called "deflection rollers", which can bend tubes up to Ø1016 mm without radius limitation.
Induction bending is a very efficient and precise bending technique that uses heat to bend tubes. It is used where cold bending methods have limitations. The combination of speed, local heat and cooling allows even larger diameters to be bent. Thanks to the unique 800kW induction system, we supply bent tubes up to a radius of 80000 mm. The advantage of induction bending is the reduced risk of wall thickness thinning and section deformation. There is no friction between the pipe and the machine and the tube surface is not affected by the bending process. The tubes can be bent in multiple radii in one length. Multiple radii then reduce the number of weld joints required. No or fewer weld joints significantly saves time and costs. Induction bending means quality, flexibility and precision.
Bending radius 2.5 x D to ∞ x D (no radius limitation)
Materials: stainless steel, duplex, super duplex, nickel alloys and special steels (such as Inconel, Cruesabro, S690QL, etc.)
These materials are commonly used in the following industries:
- Engineering
- architecture
- Infrastructure constructions
- offshore energy (among others J-tubes, S-tubes)
- oil and gas pipelines (onshore and offshore)
- petrochemical industry
- energy
- nuclear energy
- shipbuilding
Bending processes are often only part of the overall concept. We offer additional services to provide you with ready-to-build curved components, such as heat treatment, destructive and non-destructive testing (NDT), magnetic, ultrasonic and X-ray testing, hydrotesting up to 700 bar according to EN1090-2 / EN14870 / EN13480 / EN12952 (other standards on request) and 3D cutting and robot machining.

3D contour cutting and robot machining
The results are much better if the product is machined after bending. The manufacturer works with advanced CNC robots that have been specially developed for machining curved products. The bent tubes, as well as cones and cylinders, are provided with cutouts, chamfers and complex 3D contours for easy assembly into the structure. The result is significant cost and time savings and quality improvements compared to conventional techniques.
Welding
Welding is performed by a team of experienced certified welders on specialized welding equipment. The welders perform manual and automatic welding according to various methods, standards and certifications. Specialist welding activities are carried out from a simple longitudinal weld to a complete welded structure. If necessary, we provide WPS and have the welding work destructively (DT) or non-destructively (NDT) tested by an authorized person.
Finishing to improve material properties, prevent corrosion or improve the aesthetic appearance of the surface
The functional and decorative properties of a metal product can be improved by applying surface treatments, for example to protect the product from corrosion, dirt, cold, heat and friction, or by applying an aesthetic coating to make the product more attractive. Various surface treatments are possible. We will be happy to advise you on your options.
